It has been a long, hard road for Bondage A-Go-Go. There were moments when we weren't sure if they would be able to go on, the days in which Ground Zero's notorious hardcore night dwindled from three to one, and one had to wonder if someone was about to shout the safe word. Thankfully, the popular theme night dedicated to kink, fetish, and humiliation carries on, despite its schedule becoming streamlined over the years. The crowd is often a mix of neighborhood goths, preppy gawkers, and genuine freaks, and that is a good thing. Downstairs, partiers can dance to DJ sets featuring classic industrial as well as more obscure remixes. Upstairs, brave souls can watch intimate performances by dominatrix mistresses who are more than happy to wax, whip, or beat the shit out of volunteers (or will at least pretend to) who put in a little extra cash. For those who don't appreciate being painfully hungry, head on to the back, where the restaurant portion of the bar serves up tasty food for just about any type of hunger. 21+.
