If The Office were to be turned into a stage performance, what would it look like? There would probably be some moments of corporate-mandated positivity training, inappropriate romance, drunken office parties complete with over sharing, and cube-farm drama. These are a few of the things explored in "Work Party," a dance piece inspired by the painfully repressed, awkward moments we all experience working the daily grind. Expect twitchy conversations, weak social interactions, and moments of weirdness. Performances should be as humorous as they are thought-provoking—can we ever truly be ourselves in the professional world? Or are we always wearing tightly tied masks? Why does the copier cause us so much aggravation? "Work Party" features Angharad Davies, and also includes Jaime Carrera, Alex Grant, and Taryn Griggs. (Photo by orangeacid)
