Warren B. Hall
Warren B. Hall is sometimes referred to as a "clean" comedian, but that description is inaccurate, he insists. "When I first started, everything was clean," he says. That's not to say he's the bluest comedian out there now. "It's one of those things where I do adult humor," he explains. "I think of 'church clean' as you don't do any innuendo or any bad words. I'm not a filthy comedian by any means, but I talk about adult things." When he was very young, standup comedy wasn't his first show-business career choice. "I always wanted to be on a cartoon when I was a kid," he says. "It seemed like a cool thing to be on a cartoon." His favorite? "Hong Kong Phooey. No one remembers it," he laments. "But once you remind them they're like, 'Oh yeah.'" Speaking of kids, Hall has found inspiration in his girlfriend's son. "He's almost six," Hall says. "I've been in the picture since he was four. He's pretty funny. We actually started our own TV show for him on YouTube called Donte's Day. I punch it up to make it a little funnier, but it's for kids by a kid." Hall hopes to use the technical skills he's gaining to make a short film. "My hobby right now is green-screening," he laughs. "I'm making my friends fly. Baby steps, man. Baby steps."
