Trisha Brown Dance Company: Proscenium Works, 1979-2011
Over the decades, they danced down the sides of buildings, around trees, on sidewalks, and across rooftops. But the venerable choreographer Trisha Brown and her dancers also created the most marvelous stage works: lush, lovely, intriguing dances in which ideas and emotions were transformed into a distinctive choreography instantly loved by audiences. The Trisha Brown Dance Company is now on its farewell tour, performing Brown's most iconic works, including "Set and Reset" (with music by Laurie Anderson, and sets by Robert Rauschenberg), "Astral Convertible" (with music by John Cage), and Brown's final choreographic work, "I'm going to toss my arms — if you catch them they're yours."
