After touring all over the world, comedian Tom Segura is looking forward to playing for audiences in Minneapolis, but not because he had bad experiences overseas; quite the opposite. "I feel like the Australians were really tuned in," he says. "In comedy clubs here there are so many distractions." The Twin Cities though, are different. "Acme is one of my favorite clubs to play. They have top-notch audiences. They're comedy connoisseurs and comedy savvy. That's why I recorded my last CD there. I knew it was going to be a great audience to record in front of." Now Segura has a whole new hour of material, and he's set to record a new CD in the next few months. A title hasn't been chosen yet, but he has a good idea of how he's going to decide on that. "I have a podcast called Your Mom's House I record with my wife, [comedian] Christina Pazsitzky," he explains. "What we might do is put up five options and have the listeners choose the title. I think that would be a fun thing to do." 18+
