The Year in Denial: The Scrimshaw Brothers’ New Year’s Eve Comedy
Get ready to usher in the New Year with not one but two Scrimshaw brothers—Marvel team-up style—at the Bryant-Lake Bowl this Saturday evening for The Year in Denial: The Scrimshaw Brothers' New Year's Eve Extravanganza. Joseph and Joshua English Scrimshaw, responsible for Minnesota Fringe Festival hits like this year's Smother's Brothers Grimm and Brain Fighters, not to mention Joshua and Levi Weinhagen's Harty Boys Save Christmas and Joseph's Sexy Librarian, join forces for a special performance to lead you into 2012 with sketches, improv, standup, and other fun. Joining the Scrimshaws—making it, to extend the nearly forgotten 1970s Marvel Comics titles analogy, like a special issue of the Defenders—are Eric Webster, Shanan Custer, and Tim Uren.
Sat., Dec. 31, 9 & 11 p.m., 2011
