The Guy Expo
Sometimes a name really says it all. The Guy Expo is one of those cases. A massive homage to hombres, the event features 13 exhibition halls with activities that will tickle any man's fancy. The Beer-a-Thon will have 12 brews duking it out for the title of Minnesota's Beer of the Year. An Elvis-oriented eating contest called King of the Wings will require competitors to wear Elvis costumes, presumably because it's way more amusing for spectators than just watching a bunch of fat guys scarf down wings. Of course there will be plenty of food options as well, and a beer garden called Augtoberfest (I assure you it's very manly to be your friends' designated driver). There will also be a basketball dunking contest and a beer-can stacking competition, because what fun would a man fest be without the chance to prove your male dominance in a completely meaningless way? Guys who are into guns should check out the rifle range, and tech-savvy fellas are sure to enjoy the gadget and audio equipment displays. Did I mention that one guy will leave with a year's supply of beer? And if this A-List doesn't have enough info for you, attendees also receive a bag of free stuff and a "Guy'd" book to help navigate through the RiverCentre.
