The area may be under major construction, but the Walker Art Center’s Music and Movies will return to Loring Park this Monday night. Bring a blanket, some cash for snacks (or your own picnic treats), and arrive early, as the turnout most evenings is pretty solid. The series kicks off with a performance from Grant Hart, who is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Hüsker Dü’s debut album,Land Speed Record. (He is also part of Chris Larson’s art show of the same name at the museum.) Following his performance will be a screening of the Beatles’ hugely influential A Hard Day’s Night, a comedy made early in their careers, which follows the band over the course of a few days.
