St. Paul Art Crawl
This year's winter seemed to run epically long. Many of us spent the season huddling under blankets, fantasizing about the day we could ride our bikes again. Meanwhile, artists snowed into their lofts in downtown St. Paul continued to create art, and this weekend you can see exactly what they have been up to during our unforgiving frozen months. Now in its 27th year, the St. Paul Art Crawl features more than 300 artists in over 25 historic buildings. Once limited to the Lowertown neighborhood, the crawl has expanded to other parts of St. Paul, including the former Arts Off Raymond region (University and Raymond Avenues), Harriet Island, and galleries along Selby and Grand Avenues. Other businesses, such as Black Dog, Sawatdee, and CAMP Bar have special events planned as well, including live music and performances. Looking to take in as much art as possible? Check out the website for locations where you can hop free shuttles to get around town. Visit www.artcrawl.org or call 651.292.4373 for more info.
