St. Patrick's Day
Everyone loves a parade, even if its the shortest one in the world. O'Gara's Bar and Grill will once again host the "World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade," which marches from Selby, down Snelling and through the bar at 3 p.m. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the bar, Terri Traen will broadcast live on KQ92. In the Garage, live acts perform throughout the day including Orange Whip, the Subsidies, the Irresistibles, Mark Stary & the Whiskey Roses, and Tim Mahoney. The place will most likely be packed, but after a few pints that usually makes for a good time anyway. Who knows, you might even get lucky and not be hung over the next day. Just remember, luck is not something to rely on when drinking, so bring a designated driver, walk, bus it, or split a cab if you plan on partying.
