This week marks the return of 10-Fest, a yearly celebration curated by Bedlam Theatre. For the next four days, folks will be able to check out a variety of short performances from local talents. Each evening features six 10-minute pieces. Some come in monologue form, some are mini-variety shows, while others ambitiously feature ensemble casts. Circus of Small Wonders aims to delight audiences as it contemplates the complex lives of everyday objects. A True Western boasts gay cowboys, campfires, and show girls. In A Boob with Balls, Caroline Mannheimer explores issues surrounding breast cancer, while Ashanti Austin questions the tropes of black masculinity in Cosby's Ass. Food trucks will be nearby for snacking beforehand, and Saturday night's performance will include a barbeque between shows. For a complete list of works scheduled each night, visit bedlamtheatre.org.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 7 p.m.; Fridays, 10 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 p.m. Starts: May 29. Continues through June 1, 2013
