The Saint Paul Winter Carnival isn’t just about celebrating winter sports and ice art. For years now the festival has also been all about cats. At the Saintly City Cat Club’s Cat Show, 26 different breeds will preen, glare, and nap as they compete in five different classes, including the “Best Cat” in show. On Sunday, the Queen and King will be crowned — if they allow it. Leading up to that moment, guests will be able to meet a variety of exotic household cats, adorable tabbies, kittens, and other felines both friendly and fussy. Cat-tastic vendors will also be attendance, selling their wares, giving demonstrations, and sharing in the cat love.
