Saintly City Cat Club

Cat people don't have to wait for the Walker's Internet Cat Video Fest to return this summer to get their kitty fix live and in person. This weekend, the Saintly City Cat Club will be bringing hundreds of felines to the Twin Cities for two days of competition that will determine the best cat of the year. (Yes, that's a real thing.) Two hundred kitties representing around 26 breeds will strut their stuff (or just sit and glare) in a variety of categories that includes kittens, championship, premiership, and household pets. Sunday, the winners of Best Cat in both male and female categories will be crowned king and queen by St. Paul Winter Carnival Royalty. For more info, visit
Sat., Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 26, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 2014
