For the past 25 years, the Saint Paul Art Crawl has showcased the work of artists in the city through gallery shows, receptions, demonstrations, and special sales. This year, the festival organizers anticipate over 38,000 visitors, who will be able to check out pieces from over 400 participating artists. This is a citywide event, with pockets of activity in downtown, on the West and East sides, along Raymond Avenue and West Seventh Street, and in Midway. Lowertown is the heart of the happening, however, with 11 buildings to explore. Highlights include an anniversary party at Bedlam, where artists can reflect and collectors can check out posters from past years; antique letterpress and glassblowing demonstrations in the ACVR Building and Vandalia Tower, respectively; and pop-up concerts and beer gardens speckled throughout each region.
