Rob Delaney

You might have seen comedian Rob Delaney on the SyFy comedy series Astronauts in Outer Space, doing improv with friends from Upright Citizens Brigade, or telling jokes with pals like Bill Burr and Maria Bamford. Or you might have seen him in a Los Angeles-area grocery store hiding from Batman. Delaney starred in a popular internet video as a Warner Brothers PR man trying to downplay Christian Bale's notorious tirade on the set of Terminator: Salvation. But the joke was on Delaney when he spotted the hotheaded action star while out shopping with his wife. "Literally, I hid from him. I'm tall, but he's bigger." Delaney has also shot a pilot for TBS, and is perhaps the most outlandishly funny Tweeter on the planet —he calls his popular Twitter feed "eye-meltingly filthy, just absolutely not safe for work." But to truly appreciate Rob Delaney you've got to see his live show, where he struts into the audience like a square-jawed superhero of comedy and mingles with the crowd, creating on the spot a unique standup show that both showcases his sharp joke writing and draws on his improv background. "I'm a charismatic sicko," he says. "It's thinking-man's filth." Take that, Batman. 18+.
