Last year, Planned Parenthood turned 100. This year, its survival is more precarious than ever. This Thursday, local fashion designers and businesses will come together for a benefit party featuring hot threads and jewelry for a good cause. Hitting the runway will be looks ranging from affordable to indulgent, including pieces from DNOLO, Ragstock, Grethen House, and Hazel & Rose. Some designers will be getting especially creative, as condom-based outfits and accents from Akua Gabby, House of Nguyen, Joynoelle, Tracy Fletcher, and Needle & Black will be paraded down the catwalk. See something you like? Stop by the pop-up boutique, where 25 percent of the proceeds from sales will support Planned Parenthood. For tickets and more info, visit www.ppmns.org.
