Punk Rock Prom 6000: Days of Future Trashed
Real proms usually suck. The dinner and dress shopping drains the budget, the music is generally Top 40, and teenage social skills are pretty bad in general. It's time to obliterate that memory at a party worth remembering (or fondly forgetting through overindulgence). This year's installment of Punk Rock Prom is set in the year 6000, so be sure to come in your best mash-up of prom, punk, and intergalactic fashion (think Sid Vicious in space). This very special night will be feature music from Tornado, Teenage Moods, Nice Purse, the Debut, Sex Rays, Gillespie Killings, and the Fillmores. Barebecue treats are included in the price of admission, and there will be a five-buck special that gets you a tallboy, a shot of Jameson, and a cigarette. While prom, and presumably the human race, will most likely be gone by the year 6000, that doesn't mean we can't commemorate the past with the future. 21+.
