Phish, those beloved jam-band heroes from Vermont, haven't played the Twin Cities in 16 years. The noodling, chemical-enhanced rock stars capped their 2015 tour with four consecutive sold-out nights at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Stud guitarist Trey Anastasio spent part of last year jamming with the reunited Grateful Dead, so expect the group to be in tip-top shape. But don't take our word for it! "We're really happy. The band's firing on all cylinders right now, so this is the perfect time to go into the studio," Anastasio told Rolling Stone of his band's in-the-works new album earlier this year. Fuego
, Phish's 12th and most recent studio album, arrived in 2014 to solid reviews. Here's hoping Xcel security doesn't harsh too many buzzes.
