Open Streets Minneapolis/Harvest Fest

After successful events on Lyndale Avenue South last year and this summer, Open Streets Minneapolis is heading to another part of town for a day of walking, biking, and fun on North Lowry Avenue. This is the fourth year that the Lowry Corridor Business Association will be hosting the Harvest Fest, and they're teaming up with the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition to make it an Open Streets Minneapolis happening. There will be multiple musical and cultural performances on six different stages, including a Roving Pedal Stage featuring Camden Music School, Hopewell Music School, and Patrick Henry Senior High students. Folks will find numerous kid zones, like the open house at North Regional Library where families can learn about the new Early Learning Environment, created in partnership with the Minnesota Children's Museum. There will also be food vendors, mural making, and fitness classes and yoga sessions with Gorilla Yogis. Make sure you stop by the Urban Agriculture zone where you can learn about farmers' markets, community gardens, and healthy eating. More info at
