Nicolas Lincoln: Hot Mess
Red Eye's annual "Isolated Acts" presents the wild-eyed visions of both emerging and established experimental artists, nurturing the work for a six-month period by giving selected artists invaluable access to Red Eye's performance space and technical resources, plus rigorous feedback from colleagues. To close out this year's series, Nic Lincoln dishes up an omelet of dance (ballet, modern, post-modern), goggles, eggbeaters, paint, and live video feed. He breaks a few hallowed eggs to deliver a frisky mélange, with the help of ballet hotties including Minnesota Dance Theatre's Sam Feipel (recent recipient of a McKnight Foundation Fellowship for Dancers), Eve Schulte, and Melanie Verna.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: June 25. Continues through June 28, 2009
