Mulligan Stu's Do-Over Revue

Some people argue that artists' talents are innate, and that they are simply born that way. Not true. Many creative types are willing to admit that on the way to making the works that they are most proud of, there's a wake of bad art, atrocious writing, and pieces in general bad taste. This is especially true when exploring stuff from the teen and college years, be it angst-ridden poetry about vegetarianism, fan fiction from seventh grade involving characters from Scooby Doo, or a collage with hundreds of pictures of Luke Perry glue-sticked to poster board. Sure, it's cringe-inducing, but also pretty freaking hilarious, too. That is the premise of this new monthly variety show, where artsy folks will share some of the lamest train wrecks from their past. Christian Quilici hosts, and house band Seasonal Concepts contribute tunes. Itching to read something from your past that should really never ever see the light of day? Bring it to share and celebrate. We promise we're laughing with you, not at you.
