Catalonian indie rockers Mourn were teenage phenoms when they emerged with their raucous, angular self-titled debut in 2014. Unfortunately, the much-hyped band would later be thwarted by troubles with their label, but with their newest and best album, June’s Sorpresa Familia, they’ve finally overcome. Led by the howls of Jazz Rodríguez Bueno and Carla Pérez Vas, it’s a confident yet intense punk record that’s put an exciting young band back on track. With Chastity and Harper’s Jar.
