MNFashion Week: Twin Cities Scene Mixer
In a landscape of leggings, ill-maintained hair extensions, and ironic fashion statements like trucker hats, it is refreshing to see that some people still take the time to look unique and fashionable. Starting this Monday, MNFashion Week celebrates all that is good, innovative, and stylish about local fashion. Throughout the week local clothing stores like Cliché, Karma, and Via's Vintage will be hosting sales and parties where fashionistas can rub elbows with local designers. Other style creators will open their work studios up for trunk and runway shows. Interested in breaking into the fashion world with your own designs? There will be lectures and workshops on networking, branding, and creating as well. Stop in to Urban Bean tonight for the opening mixer, where you can pick up an itinerary and enjoy DJ music and tasty treats. For a complete list of events visit www.mnfashion.com.
