Method Man was the first solo star of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, starting strong with his RZA-produced debut Tical, which garnered some chart hits and eventually a Grammy for his Mary J. Blige-assisted "I'll be There for You/You're All I Need." He managed to mix his tight, melodic flow and smoke-strained rasp with both undeniable wide-range appeal and the trademark Wu grit. The manic charisma he exudes led to a number of film and television opportunities, ranging from dramatic roles in The Wire to the less dramatic How High, and his ranging personality shines through in his music. His stage presence is fun, buoyant, and raw, but he also boasts some of the toughest and most classic lines the East Coast ever delivered. With Toki Wright, Carnage the Executioner, and DJ D Mil. 18+.
