Lift Bridge Brewery Five-Year Anniversary: Pickin' and Grinnin'
Spending some time this weekend at a brewery sounds like a great idea, right? Folks who love a good brew and are interested in taking a little mini road trip to Stillwater can spend an afternoon at Lift Bridge Brewing Companies' five-year birthday bash. From 1 to 4 p.m. revelers of all ages are invited to help make beer by picking hops. They'll also be able to watch a bit of the brewing process, take brewery tours, win prizes, snack on treats from food vendors, and listen to bluegrass music. Lift Bridge Oktoberfest, a Märzen-style beer (full-bodied, malty, dry), will be tapped, as will several other special firkins. Later in the evening, the event turns 21+, and the Kurt Jorgensen Band will be on hand to play a set. All ages; 21+ after 4 p.m. (Photo by Jeff Wegge)
Sat., Sept. 7, 12-10 p.m., 2013
