Jimmy Fallon

While NBC fretted over how to move Jay Leno back to his original time slot, and subsequently what to do with Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon sat tight. Having just settled into his new gig as the third host of Late Night, his position was seemingly never in jeopardy. His show will resume after the Olympics, mostly unscathed by the upheaval of the network's schedule. Meanwhile, Fallon has hit the road to return to his roots in standup comedy. Indeed, the former Saturday Night Live performer offers a slightly different brand of humor on the live stage as opposed to TV. A gifted impressionist and musician, Fallon is likely to fuse both in such bits as his famous "Troll Doll Commercial Audition." That signature piece was developed after high school graduation, whereupon he received one of the plastic critters in a cap and gown. It remains one of his most popular bits. Owen Benjamin also performs.
