So, what are the folks who don't have family obligations up to on Christmas Eve? They're throwing a huge party without us, of course. So if you're someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas for whatever reason, or just need a break from the family, get yourself to downtown Minneapolis for this awesome party with nary a Grinch in sight. Folks looking to chill with friends can hang out at the Depot for free all evening, or if you'd like a little live entertainment, head on over to the 7th St. Entry, where $3 will get you jams and DJ sets from Mike the 2600 King, Kids Like Us, Kin, Adam Levy, Rabbi Jon Davis & His Klezmer Orchestra, and others. The event will also include comedy from David Harris, Laura Thorne, Dan Mogol, and Pat Susmilch. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Northside Community Reinvestment Coalition, Minnesotans United for All Families, and Jewish Community Action. 18+.
