At the Soap Factory's latest show, "Hedge Magic," artists will explore transformation through a bit of intuitive and magical thinking about nature and art. Participants drew inspiration from things such as the Mississippi River, geometry in nature and architecture, and even the Soap Factory itself. Materials used to create pieces include neon lights, discarded furniture, outdoor debris, and found wood. Expect works ranging from quiet to explosive, eloquently simple to complex. There will be an opening reception from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 2; a Northern Spark celebration Saturday, June 9; and a Talking Image Connection 8 p.m. Saturday, August 4.
