Harty Boys Save Christmas
It's not easy being a pair of boy-genius detectives, what with constantly facing off against arch villains while retaining a sunny yet constantly vigilant stance. The boys—the creation of Joshua Scrimshaw and Levi Weinhagen of Comedy Suitcase—are on the case again, as the show was a big success during last year's holiday season. Can the boys save Minneapolis's holiday hallmarks, like Holidazzle and the Guthrie Theater's A Christmas Carol? And who is responsible for these dastardly deeds? The answer is holiday-hating Crazy Santa Lady (Karen Weiss Thompson), who wants nothing more than to ruin the season for everyone. Helping the heroes out is their detective dad (Ari Hoptman), and, the real brains of the operation, Mom Lana (Leslie Ball) and friend Becca (Sulia Altenberg). The cast is rounded out by Andy Kraft, who takes on the myriad other roles in the show. $12/$15 at the door. 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 6 and 8:30 p.m. Sundays; 9:30 p.m. Saturday, December 10.
