Halooween at the Bell: Animal Haunt and Spooky Flashlight Tour

Considering the slutty costumes, high-octane special holiday drinks at bars, and grown-up costume bashes at clubs across the land, it's easy to forget that Halloween is primarily a kids' holiday. After all, it's the tykes who go door-to-door asking for candy, and they're the ones that look oh-so-cute dressed up as miniature versions of Spider-Man. If your children are looking for an educational Halloween, the Bell Museum of Natural History has them covered this Saturday for $7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. when the museum hosts its Halloween Haunt and Spooky Flashlight Tour. Youngsters will hear chilling animal stories and explore the museum and its dioramas by flashlight.
Sat., Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m., 2008
