Halloween Party & Costume Contest
Sure, for some the Halloween partying began days ago, but that doesn't give you a free pass to sit out the actual holiday. In fact, some may say you're obligated to do so: This is the last stress-free celebration of the year. Unlike the upcoming big dates of the season, Halloween generally doesn't require traveling, family drama, or a maxed-out credit card. So if that isn't a reason to party into the weekday, we don't know what is. At First Avenue's Sunday night Halloween party there will be plenty of opportunities for a good time, including DJs spinning tunes, a costume contest with hefty prizes, and host Ian from Drinking with Ian. Last year's costumes included Frankenberry, Spy vs. Spy, and Zoltar, the fortune-telling booth from Big, so come dressed to impress (or at least to amuse). (Photo by _rockinfree)
