Halloween for Kids
Although adults are getting in on Halloween festivities with dance parties, art shows, and bar activities, it's important to note that there are plenty of kid-friendly happenings as well that involve low-scare treats for all ages. This Saturday, St. Paul's charming Grand Avenue will be a little spookier with its annual Boo Bash (www.grandave.com). From Dale Avenue to Fairview, families will be able to enjoy special in-store treats, with fun outdoor activities including pony rides, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and more. There will also be a Monster Mash dance party with a costume contest at Ramsey Junior High, and designated businesses will be collecting donations for Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota.
Sat., Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., 2012
