As many cyclists know, the Midtown Greenway is a main drag for riders. The bike and walking trail provides crucial pavement that bicyclists use to get from one area of Minneapolis to another, and to connect to other trails and pathways. It's used for recreation as well as commuting. At the annual Greenway Glow, the trail becomes an art party. The event, which benefits the Greenway, features dozens of artist installations and performances, all lit up for the night. The 10-mile bike ride and 5K fun run/walks raise even more money, while after parties at Eastlake Craft Brewery and Taco Cat in the Midtown Global Market keep the celebration going.
