Gods and Monsters 3: The Resurrection
For the third installment of "Gods and Monsters," over 40 artists will exhibit works inspired by horror films. The era and subgenre that sparks creativity in each artist will vary greatly, so expect to see the walls covered with pieces ranging in subjects from classic characters like Frankenstein's monster, to campy '70s werewolves, to cute (and potentially deadly) Gizmo, to some of the sadistic freaks from the latest run of torture flicks, including Saw. Chuck U, Alex Kuno, Louisa Greenstock, and Biafra Inc. are a few of the many creative types on the event's roster. The opening reception runs from 8 p.m. to midnight Sunday, October 30.
