The annual Fresh Traditions Fashion Show is back and better than ever, celebrating Hmong designers offering innovative takes on clothing. As in past years, the event challenges each designer to create an ensemble using five traditional Hmong fabrics in a contemporary look that’s rooted in heritage. Presented by the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent (CHAT), the show will feature an array of black velvet, neon chiffon, and royal-blue satin. The work of 13 designers, including four returning talents, will be showcased. Visit aboutchat.org for details.
