Festival of the Last Minute
Everyone has a holiday shopping style. Some folks pick up items here and there throughout the year, others duke it out in department stores on Black Friday, and some prefer to click their way to deals online. Then there are the procrastinators. You see them frantically shopping during the final moments before Christmas at gas stations, airport malls, and picked-over stores. Fortunately, there's still time to grab a unique gift more personable than what you'll find at the Walgreens down the street. During the Festival of the Last Minute, shoppers will be able to check out items including jewelry, pottery, mixed-media art, vegan cosmetics, and sweets from 20 local artists and artisans. Stores inside the mall will be having special sales as well, with several locations offering $25 gift cards to folks who purchase $100 cards, upping your gift-giving power. (Photo by Erika G)
