The internet, my friends, isn't just for porn and Wikipedia. Over the years it has grown to be a bastion of cuteness as well. Need proof? Wander on over to cuteoverload.com to see a hamster wearing a miniature helmet and driving a Barbie car. Rodents not your thing? Google LOL cat and behold about a million cute cat pics; pics so cute and inspirational that they actually spawned their own internet slang language. Starting this Friday, you can visit the Minnesota Zoo and check out really cute, fuzzy, tiny, and beady-eyed things in person. Yes, I am talking about farm babies: baby bunnies, chicks, lambs, goats, and of course, little ducklings, all dew-eyed and quacking at you. It's going to be like a Cadbury egg commercial, or a Hallmark Card over there. You don't need to be a kid to enjoy baby animals, but obviously this is a kid-friendly celebration of the circle of life. Activities featured during farm baby season include tram rides, and even a special appearance by Peter Rabbit, who will be handing out colorful treats on Saturday, March 22.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: March 21. Continues through April 13, 2008
