While local artist David Witt (a.k.a. DWITT) hasn't had a solo show in about four years, many people will still recognize his work as he's been very active during his time between exhibitions. For example, he has created an innumerable amount of gig posters for rock shows around town, as well as for the exponentially growing Zombie Pub Crawl. He also designed the buttons for the 2012 Saint Paul Winter Carnival. Oh, and he even founded a new holiday: International Canned Beer Month. For his April show at Big Table Studio, folks will be able to check out new art featuring strange monsters, trippy landscapes, and other creations. His works will include pieces on canvas, paper, and wood panel, ranging from ink drawings to prints. The opening reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 13, will feature music by Ben Weaver.
