Daniel Kinno

Belarus-born Daniel Kinno discovered comedy as a teenager, shortly after moving from Europe following the fall of the Soviet Union. "They had humorists in Russia, but when I moved to America when I was 15 was the first time I ever heard a George Carlin album. It blew my mind that you could do this, that you could say these things and people will pay you just to hear your opinion. It still is mind-blowing." Eight years into his comedy career, he has an album of his own now, American Like You (available on iTunes), and has crafted a smart act of sharp observations and quirky social criticism that would make his comedy inspiration proud. He's been featured on MTV, the WB, and the Game Show Network, writes and punches up scripts in Los Angeles, and is executive producing a TV pilot starring the great Todd Glass. Kinno also tried his hand at acting in a prank show for the women-centric Oxygen network, Boys Behaving Badly, but that's one venture that didn't go quite so well for him. "That was my acting debut and retirement," he quips. "I am not looking for more acting work, because no one is looking to give me any." 18+; 21+ later shows.
