For lovers of the horror genre, Halloween is but a mere blip on the radar. It's the big conventions, movie (re)releases, and special events that really make a fanatic's year. These types of folks are still going strong after the big holiday, so November is the perfect time for the annual Crypticon horror convention. For the next three days guests will be treated to panel talks on script writing, gruesome makeup and effects demonstrations, and celebrity guests. Special events this year include the Indie Film Fest, a special screening of Scream 4, and visits from Tony Curran (Underworld Evolution), Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses), and Alex Vincent (Child's Play).
