For those who watched the teen nighttime soap opera Beverly Hills: 90210, Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" was the breakup anthem for badass couple Dylan McKay and Brenda Walsh. For those who have no idea what I am talking about, Crowded House is probably best known for their two hits, "Dream" and "Something So Strong." Though their following albums failed to produce hits in the U.S., Temple of Low Men, with its dark tales of infidelity, and Woodface secured their popularity in their Australia, their homeland New Zealand, and Europe. Though the band broke up by the mid-'90s, lead singer Neil Finn continued to make music both solo and with his brother Tim Finn. In recent years the band has reunited (minus drummer Paul Hester, who committed suicide in 2005) with new efforts, specifically Time on Earth. Sad-songed troubadour Pete Yorn rounds out the show.
