Comedy of Errors
It's the Bard meets the Marx Brothers in the Bedlam parking lot, as the company presents a cut-down take on Shakespeare. The bare essentials are here: Two sets of twins, long separated and ignorant of the others, end up in the same place at the same time. Calamity and hilarity ensue. Director Jason Ballweber doesn't let up for a moment, pushing the farce well into the red and using the vast outdoor space—even the roof—for good effect. And the actors, when faced with a choice, have gone broad, broad, broad, all to the audience's delight.
