Cave Women on Mars/Terror from Beneath the Earth

This Thursday night, the New Hope Cinema Grill will feature a double-header sure to entertainment old-school horror aficionados. But while these two flicks may look like B-movies from the '50s, they are actually things that came from the depths of the 21st Century's celluloid lagoon. Cave Woman on Mars is set in "the future" (a.k.a. 1987) and follows two spacemen on a trip to Mars. There, they discover a thriving, healthy planet inhabited by a tribe of potentially hostile warrior women. Will they find love, or war? Meanwhile, Terror from Beneath the Earth features a group of atomic holocaust survivors as they attempt to make a life underground. But are they alone? Or is there a monster lurking in the shadows, hungry to consume what remains of humanity? Director Christopher R. Mihm will be on hand with some of the actors from the films (plus a few monsters) to meet with moviegoers. Era-appropriate garb is encouraged, and there will be an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring pizza, soda, and salad as well. Looking for a little more of a kick to your drink? Then be sure to head on over to the cash bar.
