A truly unique, yearly theater event created by BareBones Productions, the Halloween puppet extravaganza Carnetheria will be an experience to behold. This season's performance is carnival themed and filled with large-scale puppets, dance, fire artists, characters on stilts, and aerialists in what promises to be an impressive nighttime show. The story that unfolds shies away from a strong narrative, and enthusiastically ventures into the abstract, though it touches on themes of environmentalism, circle of life, and, of course, carnival tomfoolery. Each evening is followed by a party filled with food, warm drinks, and live music by the Brass Messengers, and is family friendly. Bring the kids, but be sure to carpool as parking is limited.
