Playwright Carl Atiya Swanson has been hard at work on his latest play, Care Enough, for several years, but the tale of a political kidnapping has taken on extra resonance in the last year as protest movements have swept across the globe, from Arab Spring to the Occupy movement. It's a theme that fits in well with Savage Umbrella, which specializes in theater that challenges folks on every level. After all, they had audience members stepping over the corpses of numerous dead newlywed husbands during The Ravagers last fall (playwright Swanson was part of the company for the production). This show promises more of the same. Its title is taken from a quote by Buster Keaton, who used it to explain how he could keep on going after all of his physically damaging stunts. The company includes Anna Carol, Santino Craven, Kathryn Fumie, Sarah Hollows, Mason Mahoney, Gabriel Rysdahl, Nora Sachs, and Adam Scarpello. Laura Leffler-McCabe directs.
