This weekend-long open studio celebration features three buildings housed on the same block: the Casket Arts Building, the Carriage House, and the Factory. There are over 140 artists working in the Casket Arts Community, so expect to find glass artists, painters, jewelry designers, sculptors, filmmakers, photographers, and everyone in between working in spaces ranging from 10 square feet to several thousand. In addition to artists displaying their works and giving demonstrations, each building will be hosting a variety of local culinary artisans and musicians. If the weather is agreeable, be sure to investigate the cool outdoor artworks at Franconia's satellite sculpture park, located on the same block. (Painting by Linnea Doyle)
