A few days after releasing their enchanting sophomore record, Selva Surreal, the locally based quintet Buffalo Moon headed down to South America for some random shows and new adventures. Now area music fans have a chance to welcome them back warmly to the Twin Cities with this homecoming gig at the Entry. The soulful samba sound of Buffalo Moon on their stirring debut, Wetsuit, captured everyone's attention, but most music fans haven't yet had the opportunity to hear their expressive, Latin-tinged new songs performed live. This show should prove to be not only a celebration of the band's triumphant return to Minneapolis, but also a festive observance of one of the most unusual, inspired groups in the Twin Cities. With Tickle Torture, Night Moves, and Elite Gymnastics rounding out the stellar bill, the whole evening will feature imaginative music created by a bunch of talented local bands. 18+.
