Buckets and Tap Shoes: DREAMS

This weekend, Buckets and Tap Shoes returns for a show featuring completely new material. Brothers Rick and Andy Ausland got their start on the streets of Minneapolis, employing tap dance and buckets to create rhythmically charged performances. Nowadays, the group entertains onstage at events including the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Their latest work, DREAMS, boasts 14 vignettes, and ideas for each piece were culled from the Auslands' 15 years' worth of dream journals and sketches. Pieces should range from whimsical to nightmarish to completely surreal. The evening's soundtrack will be provided by music director Tony Braasch.
