Biblio Bash 2013: A Literary Carnival and Benefit
This Saturday, Coffee House Press's Biblio Bash returns for another carnival-style celebration of local literature. Book-themed games and activities will abound, including antique letterpress demonstrations (and souvenirs), local- and lit-themed trivia, and a crowd-sourced performance from Bedlam Theatre featuring Coffee House titles. The evening will feature a chat with Andy Sturdevant on his soon-to-be-released essay collection, Potluck Supper with Meeting to Follow, led by Read This! editor Hans Weyandt. Revelers will also be welcome to spend the night playing carnival games (last year's popular wine bottle ring toss will return), dance to DJ sets by the Current's Jacquie Fuller, nosh on food from Chowgirls Killer Catering, and sip the event's signature cocktail, the Page-turner. For tickets and more information, visit coffeehousepress.org/biblio-bash.
