The Oktoberfest celebrations have already come and gone, as have the holiday parties. So the next big event that celebrates beer isn't until St. Patrick's Day in March. Thankfully, Beer Fest at Mayslacks should help fill the gap. In addition to the excellent brews on tap, partiers will also get a free Grain Belt with admission. You'll need that drink to get through the opening events, which feature a screening of Beerfest, a movie so bad it's bad, and that's okay. The music starts around 9 p.m. and will include R&B/funk group the Mark Joseph Project, alternative rockers the Histronic, and folk rockers Whipstitch, who will be releasing their CD at this party. 21+.
